One of the biggest Formula One teams has started accepting cryptocurrency payments, and this is another victory for the cryptoindustry.
Formula One team Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant (AMF1) announced its intention to accept cryptocurrency payments in its online store. This means that users will now be able to buy team paraphernalia and conduct transactions using cryptocurrency. Those wishing to make such purchases can visit this page.
To make this possible, the Aston Martin team has partnered with Crypto.com and Cube, which are now its official business partners in the field of digital online commerce. At the moment, Crypto.com’s list of supported payment methods includes many different cryptocurrencies, including Shiba Inu.
Such a positive shift came after Formula One appointed Crypto.com as its official global sprint series partner. This suggests that race teams can thrive through crypto as much as other sectors.
For example, with Crypto.com as a global partner, Aston Martin will have access to a large user base of 50 million people, which could well ensure its financial success in the future. Crypto.com Pay service allows its customers to pay in more than 20 cryptocurrencies, including bitcoin, Ethereum, Shiba Inu, Dogecoin, Apecoin and others.
According to Stephen Kalifowitz, director of marketing at Crypto.com, “Our partnership with AMF1 is a great example, proving how versatile cryptopayments have become. We are excited to continue our work with AMF1 and ensure that cryptocurrency continues to be used as a payment method in all situations.”
