Russian grandmaster and chairman of the Human Rights Foundation Garry Kasparov, like Snoop Dogg, is not concerned about the current bearish trend in the cryptocurrency market.
Kasparov, still believes in bitcoin and etherium because they are integrated into traditional financial markets, and 99% of other coins are hardly worthy of attention:
Right now, without even realizing it, financial markets have already incorporated bitcoin, ether and other related currencies into the system.
According to the politician, the market for non-exchangeable tokens (NFT) will rebound as the world becomes digitized. In his view, people are increasingly relying on digital technology and transactions.
It’s no coincidence that Grandmaster released his own collection of NFTs on the 1Kind platform last December. He wanted to understand how the process works:
I think the collection is pretty unique. It’s probably the first attempt to map my entire life, from my early childhood to my career change from professional chess player to politician and human rights activist.
The minutes of the game he played and won against the great Soviet chess player Anatoly Karpov were sold for 51 ETH.
