The famous American director Ridley Scott will begin work on the film adaptation of journalist Camila Russo’s book “Infinite Machine” (The Infinite Machine) about the creation of the cryptocurrency Ethereum (ETH).
The production of the film will take Scott Free Productions, founded by brothers Ridley and Tony Scott in 1970. Shyam Madiraju was appointed as screenwriter and director, Ridley Scott will act as producer of the film.
I can’t think of a better team to screen the story of the people behind the development of the most revolutionary technology since the creation of the Internet that has captured the hearts of our generation,” Russo said.
“Infinity Machine,” published in the summer of 2020, tells the story of how 19-year-old Vitalik Buterin managed to found the Ethereum project and turn it into the second most important cryptocurrency brand after bitcoin.
In her book, Camille described the difficulties programmers faced on the way to scaling the blockchain to make ETH a truly popular digital asset.
